Amazing River Setting in Stick or Twist Featured in The Henley Standard

I’m very excited to share the news that my teenage adventure novel, Stick or Twist, has been featured in The Henley Standard.

The focus of the article is the local setting of the majestic River Thames.  An early dramatic scene takes place at the lock in Goring-on-Thames and I met the lock-keeper, Andy Arkell, to talk about the story. Andy is a special guy, doing an amazing job on the river.

My two teenage heroes, Niko and Jacinta, travel from graveyard to graveyard along the Thames in a battered old canoe. They are following clues linked to the mystery of the water and its pollution but are being chased by criminals who are desperate to stop them at all costs. There’s deep friendship. There’s death. There’s even a murder!

You can follow Niko and Jacinta on their perilous adventure on Instagram and TikTok via the handle @nikograntadventures
